Greater China
The broadest manufacturing base for consumer goods, electronics, packaging and hardware, with deep component supply and short development cycles.
Li Distribution exists for companies that need professional procurement without carrying a full sourcing team — and for companies that have one, but need eyes on the ground where the goods are actually made.
We source, verify and move goods. In practice that means finding manufacturers who can actually make what you need at your volume, proving they are what they claim to be, negotiating terms that hold up over repeat orders, inspecting production against a written standard, and getting the shipment through customs to your door.
Clients come to us in one of two situations. Either they are buying from overseas for the first time and want the process run properly from the start, or they have been importing for years and have accumulated a problem — inconsistent quality, a supplier who has become complacent, a cost base nobody has challenged, or a single point of failure they cannot afford.
We operate as a small, senior team rather than a large agency. Each client has a named specialist who owns the account from brief to delivery, supported by inspection and logistics partners in the markets where the goods are produced. That structure keeps us close to the factory floor and keeps you away from a ticket queue.
We deliberately do not chase volume. There is a limit to how many accounts one person can genuinely know, and once a specialist is past it, the quality of the advice is the first thing to go.
We are not a marketplace, and we do not carry a catalogue to push. We do not accept commission from suppliers. And we will tell you when a product should not be made where you want it made, or when your target price is not achievable at the quality you are describing — early enough that it is still useful.

Sourcing region is a commercial decision — cost, tariff exposure, capability and risk concentration. We shortlist across markets rather than defaulting to one.
The broadest manufacturing base for consumer goods, electronics, packaging and hardware, with deep component supply and short development cycles.
Strong in furniture, textiles, footwear and increasingly electronics assembly. A common second source where tariff exposure matters.
Textiles, engineered components, chemicals and personal care, with growing capability in packaging and light manufacturing.
Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia for food-adjacent goods, rubber and plastics, apparel and assembly.
Sourcing and procurement is the whole business. We are not a freight forwarder with a sourcing desk bolted on, or a trading company selling whatever it can buy cheaply this month.
We are paid by the buyer. That is the only way advice about a supplier can be worth anything.
Specifications, inspection standards, supplier records and cost breakdowns are written down and handed over. If you leave, you leave with your supply chain intact.
Send a specification, a sample, or even a photo and a target price. You will get a considered reply — sourcing options, indicative costs and realistic lead times — not a sales pitch.
